Scenic 5km Parkrun in Tulbagh
Duikersdrift is proud to be the home of Tulbagh’s only Parkrun event. The Duikersdrift Parkrun features a 5km (3.1mi) trail run that winds throughout the farm, across different outdoor terrain. Parkrun is a free and fun event that takes place every Saturday at 8am and everyone is welcome to join, whether you prefer to walk, jog, run, spectate, or volunteer. After the event, head over to the restaurant to enjoy a post Parkrun coffee or breakfast and socialize with fellow runners.

Every Saturday at 8am Duikersdrift hosts the official Parkrun event in Tulbagh. This is a free event open to everyone, old, young (bring the toddlers in strollers or prams), or even four-legged (bring the doggos on leads) to run or walk the 5km route around the farm.
This incredibly scenic route, offering constant panoramic mountain vistas, passes by the dam and through the olive orchard, vineyard, and farm paddocks, providing participants with a unique country experience. This is an exciting and healthy way to spend a morning with family and friends.
To receive a time, you’ll need to register with Parkrun as per the instructions on their website. This registration only needs to be done once, allowing you to then enter any Parkrun – it’s that easy!

The Parkrun is not just a chance to challenge yourself, it is also an opportunity for the Tulbagh community to gather together weekly to enjoy our natural haven whilst being active!
Organised and orchestrated by volunteers, this event is friendly and welcoming to all. Many participants get together afterwards at the on-site restaurant, where they discuss the run or their week over a tea or coffee and breakfast.
Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just fancy getting out into nature and stretching your legs, the Duikersdrift Parkrun is the perfect way to kickstart your Saturday.
