At the age of 14, Daniela visited a winery, and her career path was set. ![]()

At that young age, and even though she was obviously unable to do any wine tasting, she noticed how something as simple as a bottle of wine could bring friends and family together.![]()

She instantly knew that she wanted to be part of creating those moments.![]()
![]()
She completed her studies at Elsenburg Agricultural College in 2017 and went on to work harvests in Stellenbosch, Napa Valley, and Portugal - jointly feeding her love of making wine and travelling! ![]()

However, it was on a class trip to the Rhône Valley during her final year of studies, which ultimately steered her journey towards 𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗚.![]()

"I fell in love with the wines of the Rhône. I wanted to find a South African winery making similar styles of Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvedre, and Viognier, where I could explore them further, and Saronsberg was the perfect place.![]()

After just completing my 4th harvest at Saronsberg, I couldn't be happier working with top-quality Shiraz and Rhône style blends."![]()
